We are hiring an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Amsterdam in their mission to bring the power of knowledge sharing to all Communities. 


What does the Mentorjam Sales team do?

As our first Account Manager you will be given a blank canvas when it comes to sales.  You will have the opportunity to create and manage your own sales process, toolsets and additionally to that, build our own sales team!!  If this excites you, then this is the job for you. 

You will play a key role in the acquisition of new clients and converting incoming leads to customers. Working closely with our marketing -, reselling and implementation partners, and our pilot - and existing customers, the Account manager role is of pivotal importance both from a revenue and customer feedback perspective.

Job requirements

How will you spend your days?

  • Converting incoming leads to paying customers: getting to truly understand the customer’s needs, creating proposals addressing these, negotiating terms, creating agreements and getting these signed.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Stimulating and supporting our external partners in bringing forward our solutions to their clients.
  • Working closely with the rest of the team and our partners to review, streamline and improve existing processes and marketing materials
  • Collect and provide the organization with insights and ways to improve..

A few of the tasks you’d either own or contribute towards

  • Optimizing proposition and pricing for various customer segment

  • Providing input for strategic decision making

  • You will own the conversion part of our growth funnel and work closely with lead-gen and Customer Happiness to ensure improvement and increase ROI.
